In my YouTube video I used a lightweight black faux leather stretch for the legs and heavier weight faux leather stretch for the waistband, belt loops and fly fabric. The optional accent fabric used in my video is the same in all respects to the secondary fabric, with the exception that it has a different pattern and sheen. MATERIALS: - Primary Fabric: 1.25 yards (1.15 meters) - Secondary Fabric: .5 yards (.5 meters) - *OPTIONAL* Accent Fabric: .25 yards (.25 meters) - 12-18 1/4" (7mm) inside diameter grommets - 1 yard (1 meter) of cord to tie fly closed - matching thread Suggested Primary fabric: Anything with at least 60% stretch will work. Spandex, Lycra, knit, are all fine. Suggested Secondary fabric: Anything with at least 40% stretch will work. I suggest a slightly heavier weight than the primary fabric.
