Fitting Someone Else

Trying to get the right size for that special someone in your life can be a challenge sometimes, but fear not! I have you covered.

Upper Body

All I really need to know to make a custom fitted jacket, or garment for the upper body, is their bra size. That is the number followed by single or double set of letters. Bra sizes read like this; 36C, 42DD, 32A, and so on. They vary widely and will give me the most accurate idea of the size to make the garment for the upper body. Any other measurements would also be very helpful, as the more information I haver to work with, the better. However, bra size will be enough if that’s all you can get without giving away a surprise.

Lower Body

All I really need to know to make a custom fitted pants, or garment for the lower body, is their pant size. Pants sizes are two sets of numbers separated by a slash. The first is the waist circumference and the second is the inseam measurement. Pant sizes read like this; 32/28, 28/30, 40/33, and so on. They vary widely and will give me the most accurate idea of the size to make the garment for the lower body.

Fitting Yourself

If you are unsure of your measurements, fear not! I have you covered.

I have this handy chart to follow. If you don’t have a soft tape measure, use a length of string and then measure it against a regular tape measure. The more information I have to work with, the better.
