I highly recommend making a mock up/muslin! I can’t stress this enough! There is always slight variations in printers and how people tape the pages together. I have done my best to eliminate all variables, but I can only do so much.

This pattern is WITHOUT seam allowance.

Fabric estimations are based on a 54″ bolt width. You may need more material if using a narrower bolt of fabric.

Be sure to check that all files for printing are sized to 100% and are set to “black and white” print.

The Marchioness Blouse pattern includes 4 Zip files: The full pattern PDFs (SIZES XXS – XXL) in US LETTER, A4, and A0, printing instructions, written sewing instructions, and tech sheet. You are able to print out the pattern at home and tape the pages together by following the numbers on the pages. You can also take the A0 file to a printing company to have it printed all on one page. Please read the printing instructions that will be included in this purchase to be able to print correctly and the sewing instructions for more details.

This pattern is a project for advanced sewers, as it requires boning, grommet insertion, stabilizer, gathers, and has multiple different options for accents and alterations. However, no previous knowledge is assumed.

– 70″ (178cm) upper body & sleeve body
– 22″ (56cm) lower body & sleeve cuffs
AND
– 1 yard (.9m) stabilizer
– 72″ (183cm) sewable boning
– 6-12 buttons depending on size
– 10-20 grommets depending on size
Optional accent fabric such as lace

Suggested Fabrics:
Upper body & sleeves: Any light weight woven, such as chiffon, crepe, satin, silk, or linen.
Lower body and sleeve cuffs: Any light to medium weight woven. Match with Upper using stabilizer, or medium weight woven with no stabilizer, such as cotton.
