I highly recommend making a mock up/muslin beforehand to test size, fit, and accuracy. All printers are different!! Test before using on your good fabric!!

Be sure to check that all files for printing are sized to 100% and are set to “color” print.

The Palazzo Pants Penelope pattern includes 5 Zip files: The full pattern (SIZES XXS – XXL) in US LETTER, A4, and A0, printing instructions, written sewing instructions, fabric layout guide, and tech sheet. You are able to print out the pattern at home and tape the pages together by following the numbers on the pages. Please read the printing instructions that are included in this purchase to be able to print correctly and the written sewing instructions for more details.

This pattern is WITHOUT seam allowance.

This pattern is a project for intermediate to advanced sewers. It requires boning, invisible zipper installation and interfacing. Instructions are given, but experience is always an asset. Pattern assumes you can shorten or lengthen pants from only inseam measurement. Please closely follow the sewing instructions and the previously linked YouTube video if you have any questions before reaching out directly to me.

In my YouTube video I used 60%/40% polyester/cotton blend for the legs and 100% cotton for the waistband

MATERIALS:

2.2 meters (2.5 yards) main fabric
.5 meters (.6 yards) waistband fabric
.75 meters (.9 yards) fusible stabilizer
.9 meters (1 yard) of 6mm (1/4″) stitchable boning
1.5 meters (1.7 yards) of lacing for ties
1 invisible zipper (the second is optional)
12-16 pieces of 6mm (1/4″) grommets
2 sets of hand sew in, bra closures

Suggested Main fabric:

light weight wool, medium weight cotton-poly blend, or any medium weight fabric with very little to no stretch.

Suggested Waistband fabric:

medium weight cotton, quilting cotton, or any other medium weight material with a dense weave and absolutely no stretch.
